This training would benefit anyone who has an interest in understanding
themselves and others and in working with present mind-body experience. It is suitable for people new to Hakomi and students learning at more advanced levels of the Method.

Two Streams of Hakomi Training

   
Professional Stream
  Training for healing professions - psychotherapists, allopathic and Chinese physicians, homeopaths, body centered practitioners and anyone in care-giving situations will find within this method techniques to enhance private practice.

Personal Stream

  Individuals who are interested in the journey of personal and spiritual growth will also benefit from the training.  Additional reading and completion of case studies is optional for this stream.

Students from both streams will attend the training together. However, individuals in the professional stream will be required to do additional reading, case studies and receive coaching from Hakomi trainers.

Pre-registration for at least 12 of the 16 dates is required to participate in the training.

Individuals who are not currently enrolled in the Hakomi training are welcome to attend the workshop days.  This will provide an introduction to Hakomi through a variety of experiential practices to cultivate more gentle self-awareness and understanding, qualities of personal freedom and creativity, and a genuine appreciation for oneself and others. You’ll begin to learn and practice some simple yet powerful ways to assist effective communication.
